The installation goes like a charm, except for step 10. I’ve edited my bashrc and rebooted my Pi but javac is still an unknown command. Version check worked though, so it’s definitely installed.

Suggestions anyone?

You’ll just have to read your path variable and see why it’s not including the correct path. Run each command (from 10) line by line to find the error.

I had to use two dashes in the - -install, - -set, and - -list commands

Thanks Maryjane. The blog article does have 2 dashes but for some reason the article renderer is condensing them into one. I tried – but they didn’t seem to work either.
I’ve updated the article to highlight the double minus instead, I hope that helps the next people.
