Andrew SwanMost of those terms are enterprise development (JEE, or J2EE if you're old school) terms rather than framework terms per se. You'd need to understand them when writing an enterprise app even if you didn't use a framework.

But "splingo" is a good word, I'll give you that. I've also heard "spring-fu"...

I recall playing 'Lotus Turbo Challenge' in 1987ish... and remarking, after i nearly crashed into a lampost, "Splingo's! that was close!" therefore, i would define it as a remark of exclamation. Splingo's!!!
