When you change the settings via the control panel it rewrites the .qmail file. So either always edit it by the command line or always use the control panel. You could change the permissions so that plesk doesn’t overwrite it. Alternatively you could use Andrew Macaulay-Brook’s solution.

Hi, I have done this but it seems that the .qmail file is oerverwritted by qmail.

Is there some update configuration agent or something like that in plesk?

How could I protect the file from updates ?

I tried Andrew Macaulay-Brook’s suggestion. It was far less hassle and does not require command line access. Thanks.

Hi - am I missing something (probably) or can’t you just create a new email address, enable it as a mail group and turn off its mailbox to achieve this?
