That page (also included in the blog entry) just says it's a mail server and then it spends the rest of the description babbling on about the fact it supports RPMs! Most distributions do anyway so there is no differentiation here!

If it's just a mail server, why don't I just use Sendmail? Or Qmail? From the description, what makes this project worth switching over to? Nothing!

I once worked at 1&1 and I can tell you its full of nothing but temp agents who never even heard of webhosting until a few months prior when they started working there. Good luck resolving anything with them, especially billing issues. I use their hosting because its one of the most straight forward easy to use shared hosting control panels however I do have hosting at a variety of other companies. If I didn't know what I was doing there is no way I would hosting with them because on top of the cebu tech support not listening to what you're asking, you're generally talking to people who are just as if not less knowledgeable as you are on the more basic topics so you're not going to get far anyways.

Hellbent [Visitor] in response to: Configuring a permanant DHCP reservation on a Cisco ASA/PIX

This doesn't actually work. At least not in MY environment. I added a static arp for host A after it had pulled a DHCP address. Then shut that host off and rebooted the ASA. with the ASA back up i turned host a back on and yes, it did pull the address again but it's the first address in the pool. this is standard behavior. I repeated the test but instead of turning host A on first after the ASA was up, i turned a second host B on. When it asked for DHCP, the ASA, having an empty dhcp binding table, tried to assign the First address in the pool, the one I had intended for host A. So the ASA tries to give out host A's address to host B and it never actually gets to host b because the static ARP entry for that address is for host A's MAC address.
This is something i've been bugging Cisco about for YEARS now and they still haven't added full reservation functionality to the ASA platforms.
