l & j newcombReally interesting - we look forward to your reports! It certainly is a learning experience in a city where the language is so different. We have just booked to go to China in September so will be needing tips from you!

David NewcombMaybe it's time to call in the offer that Amy's parents made about showing you around. I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

EllyIm impreessed by ure journalistic flair & the Douglas Adams quote made me laugh out loud!
Seems the sushi was worth the air miles!
As someone who has first-hand experience of deep-sea fishing off the coast of Abu Dhabi, the thrill of catching a 16ft Baracuda, bashing it on the head then gutting & cutting it up on the boat for a barbie that evening I can confirm that FRESH fish does NOT smell fishie but they do bleed like us -almost drove me to becoming a veggie, almost!!
Look forward to people photos - thats what defines a place - the people that live in it!
Stay safe! Have fun! And find a pair of delicate oriental hands to rub those feet for u!
